2012 - WEST BLOOMFIELD GIRLS SWIMMING AND DIVING INVITATIONAL

TEAMS:	Farmington, Grosse Pointe South, Novi, North Farmington, West Bloomfield
	Currently looking for a 6th team!
RULES:	National Federation Rules will govern the meet.  All competitors may enter a maximum
	of four events, no more of which two may be individual events.
FORMAT:	Each school is allowed four entries in each in individual event, and three official entries in
	each relay event.  Heat #1 will contain each school's slowest entry.  Heat #2 will be filled with
	each school's #3 swimmer.  Heat #3 will feature the 2nd fastest entry from each school, and
	Heat #4 will be composed of each school's fastest entry.
	The diving competition will organized by flights.  Flight #1 will have each school's best diver, with
	the 2nd best diver in flight #2.  Flights 1 and 2 will do up to 11 dives.  Flights 3 and 4 will contain
	your #3 and #4 divers who will do 6 dives.
	You must fill flights 1 and 2 even if your divers cannot do 11 dives!
	In the relay events, each school will be and Exhibition "D" relay team in heat #1.
	Heat #2 will be each school's "C" relays, heat #3 will contain each school's "B" relay, and
	heat #4 will feature each school's "A" relays.
	There will be a 20 minute break after the 50 Free!
SCORING:	Each heat or flight will be scored the same.  Individual events: 1st-6, 2nd-4, 3rd-3, 4th-2,5th-1
	Relays events: 1st-12, 2nd-8, 3rd-6, 4th-4, 5th-2.  Remember, only A,B, and C relays can score!
AWARDS:	Swimmers and divers who finish 1st their heat or flight will receive medals.  This includes the
	A, B, and C relay teams.  There will also be a team trophy awarded to the winning team.
ENTRY FEE:	$150 PER SCHOOL.  Make checks payable to West Bloomfield High School.

	Your entry fee must be received to participate in the meet.
ENTRY	ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1:00 P.M. - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH.
DEADLINE:	Please submit your entries via Team Manager.  The event file will be available on the WB website:
	lakeraquatics.com - Click on the menu selection LAKER INVITATIONAL and select meet file.
ADMISSION:	$6.00 per person - $2.00 heat sheets
	PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR TEAM'S PARENTS TO ATTEND THE MEET!
	ONLY MEMBERS OF YOUR RESPECTIVE TEAMS SHOULD BE ON THE POOL DECK.
	ALL OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIT IN THE POOL BALCONY.
