| RULES: |
|
National Federation Rules will govern the meet. All competitors may enter a maximum of four |
|
|
events, no more of which two may be individual events. |
|
|
|
| FORMAT: |
|
Each school will be allowed four entries in each individual event, and three official entries in each |
|
|
relay
event. Heat #1 will contain each
school's slowest entry. Heat #2 will
be filled with each |
|
|
school's
#3 swimmer. Heat #3 will have the
second fastest swimmers, and the final heat will be |
|
|
composed of each school's fastest swimmer. |
|
|
|
|
|
The
diving will be organized by flights.
Flights #1 and #2 will contain each school's #1 and #2 |
|
|
divers, who will do up to 11
dives. Flights
#3 and #4 will contain your #3 and #4 divers who will |
|
|
be doing 6 dives. You must fill
flights #1 and #2 even if your divers cannot do 11 dives. |
|
|
|
|
|
In the relay events, each school will be allowed an exhibition "D" relay in the 1st heat, a "C" relay |
|
|
in the 2nd heat, a "B" relay in heat #3, and an
"A" relay in heat #4. |
|
|
|
|
|
THERE WILL BE A 20 MINUTE BREAK AFTER THE 50 FREE. |
|
|
|
| SCORING: |
|
Each heat or flight will be scored the same. Individual events: 1st-6, 2nd-4, 3rd-3,
4th-2, 5th-1. |
|
|
Relays: 1st-12, 2nd-8, 3rd-6, 4th-4, 5th-2. Remember, only A,
B, and C relays can score! |
|
|
|
| AWARDS: |
|
Swimmers or divers who finish 1st in their heat or flight
will receive medals. This includes the
"A", |
|
|
"B", and "C" relays. There will also be a team trophy awarded to
the winning team. |
|
|
|
| ENTRY FEE: |
|
$135 per school. Make checks payable to West Bloomfield High School. Send in your entry fee |
|
|
to the above address, attn. Bob
Crosby.
Your entry fee must be received to
participate in the |
|
|
meet. |
