GIRLS VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH – JEFF ARMITAGE

Coach Armitage joined the West Bloomfield coaching staff during the 2006 Girls season. He graduated in 1967 from East Lansing High School, where was a member of the swim team and also played tennis. He was team captain during his senior year. After High School he attended Tulane University where he graduated in 1972 with Bachelors degree in Architecture. In 1973 he received his Masters of Building Construction degree from the University of Florida. Coach Jeff worked for the Taubman Corporation from 1986-2001. He was a Senior Vice President in Engineering and Construction. One of his biggest local projects was the construction of the Great Lakes Crossing shopping mall. Coach Jeff’s two sons were West Bloomfield swimmers. Mike graduated in 1996, and Steve finished in 1998. Coach Armitage’s time and dedication to our program is greatly appreciated.
